Blackberry Hill Alpacas
Then & Now
Blackberry Hill Alpacas is a 60 acre farm of gently rolling hills in Anniston, Alabama. It is home to a heard of huycaya and suri alpacas. Founded in 1944, the farm has been host to a variety of animals. Alpacas, which have only been in the United States since 1984, became residents of the farm in 2006.

Farm owners, Debbi and Hank Merrill, welcome visitors and groups to meet the alpacas and learn about the fascinating animals. Recently, the farm has grown to include weddings and events.

The farm is set under towering oak trees near a picturesque pond. A newly built pavilion stands ready to host your dream wedding and the farm house awaits the wedding party before the ceremony.

Up to 100 guests can stroll the ground and pose for photos near the alpaca pastures, ponds and farm buildings. The bridal couple may choose to have their special ceremony near the pond or in the pavilion.
There are endless possibilities for your dream wedding.
